Presented is a split slab (positive and negative side) containing the completely intact specimen. For the exigent collector, this is the best guarantee of authenticity. For the ones with the skills and tools to enhance its display and prepare it, it can result in one of the best complete specimens ever seen. Intact, it is already one big Fezouata "trophy". An excellent specimen of this difficult species to obtain. Almost all specimens show some missing parts, which is perfectly normal at this strata, due to its geological nature, full of iron oxides. The gorgeous colours of the specimen (exceptionally well preserved) result from replacing the original cuticular substances with ferritic minerals, particularly iron oxides, abundant in this very particular geological layer.
