Fine 7cm semi-prone Selenopeltis buchi buchi Upper Ordovician, Morocco

  
Offered is a well preserved, high relief 7cm (including spines) semi- prone example of Selenopeltis buchi buchi (Barrande1846), from the Upper Tiouririne Formation (Middle Katian) of Jbel bou ingarf, Arfoud, Morocco. It has been well prepared locally; both genal spines are intact as are the pleural spines and the pygidial margin spines. The coarse prosopon on the pygidium is well preserved too.. Matrix approx: 12cm X10cm x 3cm (weight 0.6kg).
