There are five Parabathycheilus (possibly gallicus) and an Asaphid (possibly Asaphellus sp) on this Lower Ordovician plate. Found in The Fezouata Shale in Morocco.
The entire plate, with the trilobites, measures 9.5. By 9.0 by 0.5 inches. The Asaphid has been repaired. In the trilobite -collecting world this is not a detriment.
Trilobites are found by smashing open rocks- and the specimens often get broken as a result. It is rare to find an entire, unbroken trilobite. Many sellers do not disclose that their fossils have been repaired as the repair is often very well done, and virtually undetectable.I believe in full disclosure. All of my fossils are guaranteed authentic and have been legally obtained.
