Nearly 3 Middle Devonian Trilobite Fossil Hollardops (Metacanthina) Morocco

  

Rather large, nearly 3-inch, Devonian Trilobite Hollardops (formerly Metecanthina) with beautiful compound eyes showing the individual lenses. There are some chips on the body and some damage to the tail as can be seen in the photos. The pygidium has some slight separation from the body. A really nice and large specimen of this trilobite from Morocco. The cube measures 1 cm and is present in the photo to provide a size perspective.
