This is an extremely rare and early Harpidae from the Fezouata shales. A Note on all Moroccan Trilobites. Trilobites from this age are found within clasts and as such have no bedding plane, therefore in order to find the trilobite the rock is broken and the cross section of the trilobite revealed. The rock is then glued back together and the specimen prepared. 99% of all Moroccan trilobites will have a break line through the specimen, it is the only way they are found. This may involve traveling to various countries but ensures that the quality is of the best standard. The Kempton rock and gem show, again held 4 times per year, as well as smaller shows around the county. This is by appointment only.
